Become more confident as we study the elements of the pastel medium while emphasizing on landscape as our subject matter. Create from your travel memories, photographs, or landscape imagery. Take a deeper look into the use of pastels, experimenting with different uses of texture, technique and composition.

Make your painting unique and more energized with collage and mixed media. This course will introduce new and experimental ways of painting and stretch your creative boundaries with watercolor. The focus is to combine a traditional creative medium with a more contemporary approach to altering the surface of your painting. Learn to achieve an outstanding composition using the elements of design. We will discuss the extra media that we will be using the first night of class.
Mixed Media Acrylics Experiment with collage and mixed media, altering your painting with texture to give a unique surface. This course will introduce new and experimental ways of painting and stretch your creative boundaries with acrylics. The focus could be more of an abstract approach to painting, but will also be combined with realistic elements. Learn to achieve an outstanding composition using the elements of design.
